Commission rate is connected to different job types;-

  • Commission: 25.5% per job

 

Carrot Cars frequently processes cash jobs, leading to instances where drivers may owe the company rather than receiving payments. The security deposit acts as a safeguard against any potential outstanding balances should a driver choose to leave.

Additionally, drivers are entrusted with company assets, including the company’s tie, badges, name boards, and Chip & Pin card machine.

The security deposit is set at £110, due on your induction day. Provided there are no outstanding balances and all company items are returned in proper condition, this deposit will be refunded within 14 days following your last assignment with us.

Note: The minimum pass rate for the final test is 80%. Certain missteps, such as presenting a poorly maintained vehicle, could result in immediate failure. If you do not pass, unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer you a position. However, in certain scenarios, we might allow for a second attempt after re-attending the induction.

Induction Scheduling:

Once you’ve completed our straightforward online application, you’ll gain access to available induction times. Please note that spots for each session are limited and are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Onboarding:

Once you’ve successfully completed the induction and tests, you’re set to start working immediately.

Owner-Drivers’ Vehicle Criteria:

  1. Vehicle Age: Must be registered in 2019 or later.
  2. Vehicle Condition:
    • No damage, both internally and externally (this encompasses even minor scratches).
    • Free from any offensive odours, notably those from food or smoke.
  3. Functional Integrity: All components of the vehicle should be fully operational.
  4. Climate Control: A functioning air conditioning system is mandatory.

Carrot Cars Uniform Standards for Drivers (Contractors):

  1. Full Suit: Matching jacket and trousers.
  2. White Shirt:
    • Plain and pristine white.
    • Ironed, with long sleeves.
    • No stripes, checks, or patterns are allowed.
  3. Carrot Cars Tie: This will be provided to you on your first day.
  4. Shoes: Formal black footwear.
  5. Shirt Etiquette: The top/first button of the shirt should always be securely fastened.
  6. Fit: Your shirt, suit, and shoes must be of a proper fit to ensure a polished appearance.
